Poverty is the financial state of not being able to afford Food and shelter, but can sometimes have certain commodities like a TV. To reach this state you have to either not have the money to stay under a roof and/or not being able to buy at least 2 meals per day. Absolute poverty is the state of not being able to buy anything needed, no food, shelter, or commodities, you have nothing in your name and most probably don´t have a job. The difference between each other is the degree or the intensity, absolute poverty is much worse. Most of the poverty is found in but not limited to: Central America, South America, Africa, India, Malaysia, China and the Middle East. Most of the countries found on this list are either developing or 3rd world countries. Most of the high food price is blamed on the bad weather, droughts and floods, which has caused a major shortage in crops. Another factor of this price is due to the rising cost of gasoline and the impact it has on transporting these goods.
The most prominent impact of poverty found in El Salvador would be considered as "maras"/gangs and corruption.the article is chose depict the power money has in the minds of people in El Salvador at the moment. Most parents don´t have time to take care of their kids so kids resort to finding a new family winch are indeed gangs. Another problem would be the transportation of Drugs inside the country to support these new "families" of gangs.

1. There are three commonly used definitions of poverty, the most accurate in my opinions the so called social exclusion, "… absolute poverty, relative poverty and social exclusion. Absolute poverty is defined as the lack of sufficient resources with which to keep body and soul together. Relative poverty defines income or resources in relation to the average. It is concerned with the absence of the material needs to participate fully in accepted daily life.
Social exclusion is a new term used by the Government. The Prime Minister described social exclusion as "…a shorthand label for what can happen when individuals or areas suffer from a combination of linked problems such as unemployment, poor skills, low incomes, poor housing, high crime environments, bad health and family breakdown"."

Poverty is the state of being extremely poor; at the point where you cant even afford the basic human needs. Absolute poverty is when there is extreme poverty, and when it comes to food, clothes, and shelter, there are minimum quantities. The places on the world that have the most poverty are Asia and Africa. This can be because Africa is not a very developed country, and in Asia there is so much population that not many people are able to get a job since there are few vacant spots. A big factor that is increasing the food crisis is that there has been bad weather all over the world, which means not as much food is being produced. This makes the crops more valuable and makes them cost more.

The food crisis is affecting El Salvador because there has been a very big drought, and the UN Food Programme distributed food there. About 1.4 million poor farmers not only in El Salvador, but in all Central America have lost lots of space for their basic crops due to the droughts. Also, because of this, there are about 75 thousand people in desesperate need of food supplies.

1. Even though theres not a real defenition for poverty, some people say its the standars of living in a society in a specific time. Some others say its when they are denied an intcome sufficient for their materials needs and when these circumstances exclude them from activities they cannot afford. It is also a states of not being able to buy food nor living on a shelter.
2. Absolute poverty is when you can not afford even food or any amenities. It is also called when you dont have work were you can get money from. It is also that you cannot afford spending more than $2.00 a day.

4. I think the most poverty is in Central America because of all the employees they have. I also think this because of the economic problems. This are countries from the 3rd world.

Poverty is to lack the basic supplies and esscencials to live happy and fulfilling life.

1. Poverty is not being able to afford some basic human needs; the only things this includes are food and shelter. For food is that you don’t have the capacity to buy at least two meals a day. When someone lives in poverty they cannot have commodities.2. Absolute poverty is when a person is not able to have anything in life, no education, shelter, clean and fresh water, nothing they are living with nothing. It is most common that this people don’t have a job. 3. The difference between absolute poverty and “poverty” is that when you live in absolute poverty you don’t have anything in life. Poverty is mainly thought of the lack of resources to buy shelter or food. Another type of poverty is more superficial, like not being able to buy things that you want but that are not essencial, like videogames or computers or TV. Absolute poverty is when a country dosnt have any of the resources like medicine, food and, or shelter. Absolute poverty is when some one has nothing, nothing that helps him survive, then, poverty is when you can barely afford for food, and shelter, but you dont have any other superficial items, like TV or anything else... Using the maps, I think that the countries that have more poverty is India, Africa, South America and many other places, I believe so because people live in poor made shelters, almost no one can afford for food, or shelter. They are almost in absolute poverty. What is causing the food shortage poverty is that people that can afford it are wasting too much, not that the economy isn´t affecting, but it´s mainly because people that can afford it are wasting too much.
