What is happening in South Africa is bad; a lot of foreigner people are going to live to South Africa. Africans do not like these because they say that these people are taking their jobs and here are not much jobs in South Africa. So they want to fight to take all the foreigner people out of the country. I think that this is occurring because foreigners think that they have more chances of working in South Africa or they are freer in South Africa. I really think that they shouldn’t be fighting for these things; I think everyone is free to do what they want and go where they want. I think that South Africans should do better at work so that they don’t get fired. Isn’t South Africa big enough for more people? Why do they have to keep on fighting about the same thing? I think that what will happen next will be that hopefully South African people will calm down and not kill the foreigner people that are in, but no more foreigner people could get in.

The violent actions taking held in South Africa started when the World Cup started so a lot of foreigner people started to do their business by selling vuvuzelas, but when the World Cup ended the did not live South Africa. The problem is that this foreigners cannot make their own work only by going a putting a store because you need a letter signed by the government. The other problem is that South Africa wants to show that they are a good example so by doing that they check foreigners (illegal immigrants) documents like the passports or the licenses. I think this is happening like in Mexico and the U.S just that this is between African countries and South Africa so the South Africans need more security in the country boundaries so they don’t have problems. I think is happening to because people think that in South Africa are more opportunities for a job, but they are incorrect because it is the opposite they don’t have so much opportunities. Do you think South Africa is going to kick them or put them in behind bars? Do you think South Africa is a small or big country to have more people (illegal immigrants) or it’s ok to have them inside South Africa? I think that in the future the South African government will put things in order with the foreigners living inside.
1. Why do you think this violence is occurring towards foreigners in South Africa? I think the violence is towards foreigners because they are making people lose their jobs.
Why are South Africans assaulting and cursing at the foreigner immigrants? Well, South African locals had done this before in 2008, but it hast started again right after the World Cup began. The locals are threatening, cursing, and asaulting foreign people and telling them to leave their country. One of the main causes is, that South Africans think that the foreigners are taking their jobs, and taking advantage of the country's poor enviorment.''Go back to your country,'' they said''Leave our country alone, it is ours.''. In 2008 not only the same thing happened, but it occured at a much larger scale. Taking away the lives of over 60 people, and attacked thousands. What will happen in the future, will it be much worse? I think that this problem has to be solved, and I think that in the future these people will mature enough to realize that we share this world.
The article talks about South Africans are threatening foragers to leave the country. The South Africans go at night to the immigrants houses and force them to get out, they beat them up and threatened to burn their houses. Many immigrants left the country.
I wonder why the government has not been able to control the problem. As a government I would try to create opportunities of work for the people of South Africa.

I think all this violence and attacks are happening in South Africa because there aren’t many opportunities in South Africa and the few ones that are available should be given to the legal citizens of South Africa. South Africa is back to where it was 2 years later. South Africans are attacking the illegal immigrants that came to South Africa to search a refuge. South Africa is acting violently against foreigners because they’re taking their jobs away. It’s never fair to take away someone life, but it’s very unfair for South Africa’s real citizens to be suffering hunger because they don’t have a job and for the immigrants to have jobs. I think something that does not involve killing or beating up should be done about this major problem. Hopefully soon in the future this colossal problem gets solved because it’s not fair for South Africans to have someone steel their job but it’s not fair either for immigrants to be beaten and killed.
Why isn’t the government doing something about this?
South African people do not like immigrants in their country; the government blames them for “stealing” the jobs of the South African people. They are creating havoc for the immigrants by beating them. Most of the immigrants come from other African countries thinking there are more job opportunities in the vast country. The police minister Nathi Mthethwa blames the immigrants for the stealing that takes place in stores. Mthethwa says that this isn’t being done because of race or ethnicity. Truth is millions of immigrants in South Africa are frightened of what will happen to them when their own government can’t support them. Most immigrants come from Zimbawe due to the economical turmoil in their country. I think that people in Africa should help themselves and create love not violence with their fellow brothers in search of better futures. Big countries like the U.S, U.K and China, or even the U.N should help these people. The World Cup should have lifted South Africa’s economical power but I don’t see that happening any time soon. I predict that the immigrants will have to leave the country and have to look for a country that will allow them to stay and give them proper rights and jobs. Why are South African people so selfish they can’t help their fellow Africans in a time of need? Why is the government of South Africa blaming the immigrants for their errors in ruling the land?

I think the government and people in South Africa thought that the World Cup would lift its country’s economical income and job opportunities would grow. Now people see that since that did not happen they are in danger of losing their jobs to immigrants who agree to work for less money and worse working conditions.

It seems as if the South Africans are blaming the foreigners for what their own government has produced for them. They hate foreigners for taking their jobs so they should work even better so they won't get replaced by the new people entering their country. It is a matter of competing I bet they never heard that when you are working you are competing against all the world and all the people in it. In some places it can even be considered racism and start another war which will end many lives if this is not solved soon. Even after that prediction I will say South Africa will notice its wrongdoing and peace will be restored.

I am completely sure that it is because of the lack of jobs and poverty of South Africa but it bothers me that they can not earn a life the rightful way but do it in a evil way that will only worsen things over there.

Another problem is that South Africans want to show that that they can be good examples by checking that foreigners have passport and license. Also the south Africans need more security in their country because they are having a lot of trouble. Also South Africa isn’t so good for getting jobs and opportunities and people think the opposite.

I think the violence is against foreigners because a lot of them are coming to south Africa and they are making a lot of south Africans lose their jobs, so south Africans are getting mad because it’s their country and they need their jobs.
Foreign people are moving to south Africa for protection mostly because on their country there no being protected by their government and police. The South African’s government found this illegal and with bad results as last time but only in a smaller version. South African people dosen't like this because they are taking there jobs and as their economic isn't so good there almost killing themselves to get the job.
People for other countries run from economic and violence issues that have occurring to them so they move from there to a safer place. Theres nothing wrong in that because they want to feel safe and relaxed and have a calm life.

South Africa is telling immigrants to leave their country. They are threatening people that if they do not leave their country, they will set houses on fire. They are also hurting people instead of just telling them to go away. South Africans say that they are telling people to go away from their country because they are taking away their jobs. I don’t think immigrants are there to get jobs, though. I also think that it is a very rude way of telling them to go away. I would like to know another reason of why South Africans are telling immigrants to go away, because I think their reasons are not fair for immigrants. I would also like to know why did they do that back in 2008. I really hope they will stop fighting and telling immigrants to go.
I think it is unfair for the immigrants to get kicked and killed just because they want to live in South Africa, my guess is that they just want to work there and they should have the right to be able to live there. I also think that the people of South Africa are kicking the immigrants because they think that they are getting all the jobs. I also think they are blaming the immigrants for all the problems, like economic problems and political problems, even when they haven’t done anything bad. I’m not saying that all the immigrants are good, some immigrants go there to steal and to do bad stuff, but the good people shouldn’t get blamed for what they haven’t done. If this continues maybe later on no one will want to go there and people from South Africa maybe, but maybe regret what they have done by kicking all the immigrants. Another thing that maybe they don’t realize is that they sometimes go to other neighbor countries for aid and they go to other countries as immigrants to go work in another thing, if people of South Africa can go as a immigrant to other countries, why immigrants from other countries go to South Africa? My opinion is that they should stop with this anti-immigrant idea.
What is happening in South Africa is that the tension between the immigrants and the natives is rising. Most South African natives do not like the foreigner because they are taking away from them jobs and their country. Right now what natives are trying to do is to make immigrants leave by threading them, assaulting them, and even killing them, but most immigrants do not tell the police because they are scared. I did not really knew about this topic, but now that I now it is very impressive and surprising to me. I don’t like what is happening because they are mistreating people and the way they want to make them leave is not the correct way. I want to know will happen with the immigrants and if they are going to stay or not? I also want to know more about how the government will respond later on. I think the natives will end up making them go, but I hope not because I think they do not have the rights to do it.
